Hi. I’m Ricky’s mom, I helped to create this blog for him (as a belated Christmas present), and this is the last time you’ll see me in here … unless one of his arms falls off and he can’t type.

Ricky is a minor. Because of that, I’m going to be monitoring this web site pretty closely from very behind the scenes. Predators, spammers and the like — leave him alone unless you don’t value either your person or your property.

To everybody else who comes to visit, I believe in free speech but it has to be responsible free speech. No swearing. Be polite (you can disagree without being rude). Don’t write anything that could get you or your parents arrested or sued.

Otherwise, talk among yourselves. But don’t forget, for at least a few more years, I’ll be watching.

No school. Yay!

I’ll be playing my saxophone at the All County Winter Festival on January 17th. It’s going to be held at my school this year, too. Makes it easy for everybody to come.

I wonder if Gina will still be home or if she will be back at college by then? I want her to come see me.
